Nicole Scherzinger has confessed that she did not feel comfortable wearing sexy outfits while with the Pussycat Dolls.
The US X Factor judge told a fashion magazine that she was embarrassed by the styling for the band.
The 33-year-old singer told Marie Claire: "I cried when I saw my first Pussycat Doll costume.
"It was my first photo shoot, and I wasn't used to wearing clothes like that."
Nicole was originally scheduled to co-host the talent show with Steve Jones but was given a place on the panel when Simon Cowell "sacked" Cheryl Cole.
Scherzinger told the publication that she is really happy to be selected to be a mentor on the reality TV singing contest.
She added: "I'm the luckiest person to get a front-row ticket to the Simon and Paula show.
"This whole thing has felt like a roller-coaster ride."
